Scope - The main objective for the Cybersecurity Architecture Specialist is to review, evaluate and implement cybersecurity solutions that promote interoperability and manageability throughout the systems development life cycle while meeting internal risk management needs and business requirements. Cyber architecture: Oversee the deployment and use of consistent security architecture practices to promote interoperability and manageabilit

• Design and develop cyber architecture standards as well as enablers and processes for maintaining architectural artifacts.
• Perform cyber architecture reviews in alignment with IT Enterprise Architecture, IT Identity and Access Management and other relevant stakeholder requirements.
• Leverage global tools and techniques to consistently capture, model and analyze security architecture options.
• Develop and provide implementation guidance to the markets.
• Maintain a consistent set of regional reference cyber architectures and artifacts.
• Review existing architectures to identify opportunities to incorporate innovative approaches including Cloud Security Architecture, Mobile Platforms and Secure Web Gateway (e.g. API Security).

Security Solutions: Work with regional IT to support the deployment cybersecurity solutions in alignment with business needs.

• Support and provide guidance to the markets in the deployment of approved cybersecurity solutions.
• Conduct reviews of security configurations and changes in the regions and markets.

Application Security: Deploy and operate application security capabilities, solutions and requirements consistently across the region.
• Systemically identify and document application level vulnerabilities.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of application security standards.
• Communicate identified vulnerabilities and recommended mitigation strategies.
• Provide guidance and recommendations for remediating application vulnerabilities.
• Facilitate and deliver targeted application security training, including developing and implementing a secure code-training program to highlight software vulnerabilities and defense measures.
• Conduct application security testing quality assurance (QA) throughout the SDLC lifecycle to validate testing processes.
• Support the secure recovery of applications in alignment with IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) standards.

Proactive Leadership: Actively communicate and keep abreast of the latest trends in cybersecurity architecture and risk management.
• Stay current on industry leading practices and technologies.
• Facilitate meetings with business members and participate in projects relating to changes in security architecture and solutions.
• Advise on cyber architecture and security solution requirements and considerations in alignment with emerging needs of the business

Education & Work experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in cybersecurity architecture, engineering application security or similar.
• Financial Services, Fintech and/or Banking and automotive experience preferred
• Experience designing and deploying security architectures and experience collaborating on architecture and engineering design options, implementation, testing and user acceptance.
• Experience working with the following cloud environments: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
• Experience with threat modelling techniques and tools
• Experience with software security, secure coding, or software assurance tools and techniques
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, Objective C, Python and JavaScript.
• Highly skilled in implementation of secure application architectures, encryption technologies, cryptography and key management, and authentication and control of application permissions
• Experience developing and operating secure SDLC programs
• Advanced knowledge of application vulnerabilities such as parameter manipulation, injection attacks, buffer overflows and cross-site scripting and associated mitigation techniques.
• Knowledge of application functionality to including the following components: authentication, authorization, data validation, encryption, exception handling, logging and language frameworks.
• Experience and/or familiarity with DevSecOps, Continuous Development/Continuous Integration concepts, and automated test tools.
• An understanding of emerging technology and digital trends and their impacts on cybersecurity.
• Solid ability to communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means.
• CISSP certification is mandatory
• Working knowledge of NIST, Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) and Open Source Security Testing Methodology Manual (OSSTMM).
